The short version: Bagh Chal Battle is a free board game designed to work fully offline. By default, your progress (coins, trophies, settings) is stored only on your device. We do not ask for your name, email, phone number, or contacts — ever.

1. What the app stores on your device

• Game progress: coins, trophies, streaks, achievements, owned themes, statistics, settings.
• This data never leaves your device unless you use the online features below.

2. Online multiplayer, friends & villages (optional)

• When you tap "Online 1v1", the app creates an anonymous account (a random ID — no email, no phone, no name required). Your chosen in-game display name, match moves, results and leaderboard trophies are stored on our server (Supabase, hosted in Mumbai, India).
• Friends are added only via a short friend code you choose to share — we never read your contacts or phone book. Villages (clans) store a village name/tag and membership.
• An optional self-declared state (chosen from a list, no location permission) powers the state leaderboard. Leave it blank to opt out.
• In-match and village chat messages are filtered automatically (profanity, links, phone numbers, emails) on the device and again on our server, then stored with the match/village. You can mute chat, report a player (🚩) or block them (🚫) at any time.

2b. Virtual currency

• Coins and gems 💎 are virtual items with no monetary value and cannot be cashed out. They unlock cosmetics only and never grant gameplay advantage. There are no loot boxes.

3. Cloud save (optional)

• If you choose to sign in with your email address, we email you a one-time code (no password) and store your game-progress data online, keyed to your account, so it can follow you to any phone — Android or iPhone. Your email is used only to identify your save and is never shared or used for marketing. This is entirely optional — the game is fully playable without signing in.

4. Advertising

• The app shows ads via Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers (such as the advertising ID) to show and measure ads. See how Google uses data from partners.
• You can remove interstitial ads permanently with the one-time "Remove Ads" purchase.
• Purchases are processed by Google Play Billing; we never see your payment details.

5. Analytics

• We use Firebase Analytics to count anonymous gameplay events (e.g. "a match was played", "the tutorial was completed"). These events contain no personal information.

6. Notifications

• At most one reminder per day (daily puzzle or streak warning), scheduled on your device. Turn it off anytime in Settings → Daily reminder.

7. Deleting your data (DPDP Act 2023)

• In-app: Settings → Delete my account & data permanently erases your online account, leaderboard entry, match history, chat messages and cloud save from our servers.
• Local progress can be erased with Settings → Reset Progress or by uninstalling the app.

8. Children

• The game is suitable for ages 7+ and designed for mixed audiences. It contains no gambling, no real-money prizes, no loot boxes and no unmoderated communication. Chat is filtered, muteable and reportable; there is no voice chat.

9. Legal compliance

• Bagh Chal Battle is a free online social game with no entry fees, no wagering and no real-money winnings — compliant with India's Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act, 2025.
• We process minimal data under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, with consent shown at sign-in and the deletion path described above.

10. Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with an updated date.
